The first digital tourist guide of Bacău county was launched

The Bacău County Council (CJ), through the County Public Service for the Promotion of Tourism and the Coordination of the Bacău Rescue Activity (SPJPTCAS), recently launched the application "Bacău County App - Visit Bacău", created to contribute to the promotion and development of the tourist area of ​​Bacău county. This is a mobile app that works on Android platforms and can be downloaded from "Google Play" and iOS from "App Store".

"Through this application, all those interested can identify much more easily the cultural and historical attractions of the county, the traditions and customs of the area, the possibilities of accommodation and dining, in the area of ​​Bacău County. The application has a number of 12 categories of interest for the tourism potential of Bacău county: Tourist attractions, Public services/Useful addresses, Calendar of events, Gastronomy, Accommodation, Tourism, Adventure and relaxation, Local traditions, Map and Press releases". said Romulus-Dan Busnea, from SPJTCAS - Slănic Moldova work point.

In the tourism category, 4 thematic tourist routes (ecclesiastical, natural, cultural and museum) are presented, which propose tourists to take a tour of the monasteries, admire nature and find out more information about the history and culture of Bacău. Also, mountain lovers can travel one of the 9 marked and approved mountain tourist routes, being guided by the GPS coordinates uploaded to the application. The objectives that can be visited appear in the application according to the area where the user is, thus facilitating the navigation process.

"The application will be further developed, which is why we are thinking of later identifying and presenting other objectives of real interest, in order to increase the attractiveness of Bacău County as a tourist destination. In this way, we thank the SPJPTCAS Bacău team, coordinated by director Romil Botezatu and deputy director Horia Olinic, for the implementation of this project", also stated Silviu-Ionel Pravăț, vice president of the Bacău CJ.

The application "Bacău County App -Visit Bacău" is available for free, works online and offline, while users can enjoy a real tourist guide, in an interactive and easy-to-use way, indispensable for tourists who want to enjoy unique experiences tailored to your preferences. Also, in addition to producing tourist promotion materials, such as brochures, leaflets, flyers, maps, SPJPTCAS Bacău is active in the online environment on the tourism website www.turism-bacau.ro, as well as on the Facebook page Tourism Bacau.
