The "Busuiocul" Folk Ensemble from Bacău is preparing a special event for the local community and beyond. On Thursday, December 27, from 10.00:XNUMX a.m., a fascinating show takes place in Bacău under the name "Alaiul Datinilor si Obiceiurilor de Iarnă", an event organized under the patronage of the Bacău County Council and the Bacău City Hall.
This festival is a special opportunity to discover and celebrate the authentic traditions of winter, offering participants a captivating glimpse into the rich world of Romanian folk customs. From traditional dances to carols specific to the area, from representations of Christmas customs to other winter-specific rituals, the event, which has already become a local tradition, will bring together bands of carolers, dancers and folk artists from all corners of Moldova, for to celebrate the charm of Romanian holidays.
The Tricolor Square in the center of Bacău will turn into a real scene of ancient customs, where the public will be able to watch: traditional dances full of vitality and symbols, from goats and bears to mask games; authentic carols, full of emotion, performed by groups of carolers from all the counties of Moldova; ancient customs, preserved for generations, which mark the passage of years and evoke the deep connection between man, nature and divinity.
The procession of the Datins is more than a folklore show; it is a celebration of our cultural identity, an opportunity to return to our roots and pass on the spiritual treasures inherited from our forefathers.
The authentic atmosphere of Christmas and New Year will be maintained by dozens of folk ensembles and bands of carolers dressed in traditional costumes, bringing the songs and stories of the Moldovan winter to the city center.
