Duties
- The County Public Service for the Promotion of Tourism and the Coordination of the SALVAMONT Bacău Activity has the following main attributions:
- carries out rescue operations in the mountains within Bacău county, consisting of preventive patrolling, ensuring permanent presence at SALVAMONT points, searching for and recovering missing persons or those isolated following natural disasters, providing first aid and transporting them to the first health facility;
- ensures the management, operation and maintenance of the leisure tourist infrastructure - ski slope in Slănic Moldova;
- identifies the mountain tourist routes and, as the case may be, prepares the documentation for their approval, according to the legal provisions;
- coordinates the mountain rescue activity in the county, both from an administrative and organizational point of view;
- proposes the approval or abolition of some mountain tourist routes within the county;
- coordinates and supervises the development, maintenance and rehabilitation of mountain trails in the county;
- ensures the reception of emergency calls regarding mountain accidents and their transmission to SALVAMONT formation leaders or their substitutes;
- ensures permanence at SALVAMONT points and refuges;
- verifies the fulfillment of the obligations stipulated by the legislation in force for the natural or legal persons who manage mountain huts nominated by decision of the County Council or, as the case may be, of the local councils that have organized local public services SALVAMONT;
- organizes the professional training activity of mountain rescuers
- fulfills the duties provided by the legislation in force for SALVAMONT local public services, in the event that such services have not been organized at the level of localities on the territory of which there are mountain trails and/or ski slopes;
- fulfills any other duties related to the mountain rescue activity provided by the legislation in force or established by decision of the Bacău County Council;
- collaborates with the SALVAMONT services from neighboring counties to carry out rescue and/or prevention operations.
- prepares the database regarding the tourist potential of the county, with the provision of information to interested legal or natural persons;
- substantiates and proposes for approval the sustainable tourism development program in Bacău County, taking into account:
- rural, mountain tourism
- cultural, historical tourism
- ecumenical tourism
- spa, recreational tourism
- therapeutic tourism
- sports, school, university tourism
- promotes informative materials with reference to the material base and opportunities for sustainable tourism in the county and its component localities; Q. monitors and provides specialized advice to local authorities in the county for the development of sustainable tourism;
- identifies the opportunities to access programs/projects with external or internal financing of sustainable tourism and ensures the dissemination of this information to the interested factors
- draws up projects for accessing external/internal funding sources with reference to tourism.
