SALVAMONT - Duties

The SALVAMONT Bacău coordination service has the following main responsibilities:
a) coordinates the mountain rescue activity in the county from an administrative and organizational point of view;
b) proposes the approval or abolition of some mountain routes;
c) coordinates and supervises the development, maintenance and rehabilitation of mountain trails in the county;
d) ensures the reception of emergency calls regarding mountain accidents and their transmission to SALVAMONT formation leaders or their substitutes;
e) ensures permanence at SALVAMONT points and refuges;
f) verify the fulfillment of the obligations provided for in art. 39 of GD 77/2003;
g) organizes the professional training activity of mountain rescuers in the county;
h) fulfills any other duties related to the mountain rescue activity provided by the legislation in force or established by decision of the Bacău County Council.
