Between October 16 and 17, the "George Apostu" Cultural Center in Bacău celebrates its 35th anniversary through a special event, "CelebrART".
"For three and a half decades, the Center has become an essential component of the local and national cultural landscape, a living space where the arts meet and complement each other, from music to theater, from visual arts to literature, guiding the steps of those who cross our threshold towards the light of knowledge and pure emotion. Contemporary art personalities, art critics, writers, conductors and prestigious performers meet, for two days, with the Bacău public to celebrate the beauty of the arts in all their expressions - from exhibitions and editorial launches, to gala concerts and documentary film screenings", is shown on the Center's website.
"CelebrART says it all: we celebrate art in its multiple forms, as a universal language that brings us together and helps us become better, more sensitive and more connected to the world around us. CelebrART is an invitation addressed to everyone, an invitation to cherish cultural heritage and to carry forward, with responsibility and vision, the universal values of art", the institution's manager, Ovidiu Ungureanu, stated.
