Double historical anniversary, in the village of Prăjești, Măgirești commune – Bacău

At the "Museum of the Gassers of the Salt Tazlău Valley", in the village of Prăjești, Măgirești commune - Bacău, a double and important anniversary will take place, on Wednesday, October 15, between 11:30 am and 1:30 pm, respectively, a decade since the inauguration of this museum (2015 - 2025) and 160 years of existence of the Gymnasium School in the Măgirești commune (1865 - 2025).
From the program: The special guest of the event, PhD ethnographer, Angela Paveliuc-Olariu, in dialogue with the "Descendants of the Răzeșilor Găzari from the Tazlăului Sărat Valley" and the launch of her volume, entitled "Ratoșele din Moldova. File de Monografie", "Quadrat" Publishing House, Botoșani 2025; Awarding the title of "Honorary Citizen" to teachers with special merits; Awarding "Honorary Plaques" to teachers distinguished in education from the Măgirești Middle School; Tributary artistic program supported by students of the Măgirești School.
On October 17 and 18, 2015, in the village of Prăjești, events were held to mark the inauguration of the Museum of the Răzeșilor Găzari from the Tazlău Valley, as part of the project "Promoting the Intangible Cultural Heritage Specific to Bacău County - Customs, traditions and crafts of the Răzeșilor Găzari from the Tazlău Valley".
The initiative to establish this museum belonged to the tireless seeker of treasures of the past, prof. univ. dr. Constantin Parascan, a man of the places and worthy successor of the extinct Moldovan gas miners, a museum that essentially reconstructs the history of the life of the extinct gas miners from the Tazlăului Sărat Valley, from the most distant times to the present day. The guest of honor at the inaugural moment was the actor Florin Piersic, an old and good friend of professor Constantin Parascan.
The double anniversary event is organized by the Măgirești Commune City Hall, the Cultural Foundation "Descendants of the Gasari Răzeși from the Tazlăului Sărat Valley" (URG) and the Măgirești Middle School.
