Classic Chess Open and National Backgammon and Table Tennis Competition in Târgu-Ocna

For four days (January 23 - 26), at the "Adam" Motel (formerly "Minerva") in the resort town of Târgu-Ocna, the National "Open Classic Chess" Competition and the first stage of the National Backgammon and Table Tennis Competition will take place in parallel, the first of these between January 23 - 26, and the second between January 24 - 26.
Both competitions are organized by the "Chessback" Sports Club from Târgu-Ocna, under the aegis of the Romanian Chess Federation (FRS) and the Romanian Table and Backgammon Federation (FRTB).
The tournament director is Neculai Drăgănuță, European Backgammon champion, president of the "Chessback" Sports Club from Târgu-Ocna (which is in Division A of the National Team Chess Championship) and of the Romanian Backgammon and Backgammon Federation.
Classic Chess Competition (January 23 – 26) It is held in the Swiss System, 7 rounds, 60 min., plus 30 sec./move, and the participation fee is 200 lei (170 lei prizes and 30 lei organizational expenses).

Sunday, January 26, 9.00:6 a.m.: Round no. 13.00; 7:30 p.m.: Round no. 15.000, and 88 minutes after the last round, the award ceremony will take place. The distribution of prizes will be made in three value groups (A, B and C), their total value being 88 lei, guaranteed for a participation of 88 players. The prizes increase proportionally when there are more than XNUMX players and decrease proportionally if there are fewer than XNUMX players.
Stage I of the National Backgammon and Backgammon Competition (24 – 26) will be held as follows: Individual Open Backgammon Competition, Individual Backgammon and Double Consultation Backgammon. Participating athletes, in addition to cash prizes, cups, medals, will have the opportunity to collect points in the Romanian National Ranking. Only athletes registered with a sports club affiliated with FRTB, with an annual visa paid, can participate, and 100% of the registration fees will be distributed in prizes. Backgammon enthusiasts can also register and play in the professional circuit
Game categories
1. Individual Backgammon Competition, 500 lei (425 lei registration, 100% in prizes; 75 lei organizational expenses), games at 9 points/ 18 min./12 sec. move. Competition system: "3 lives", on the ftbgsystem.com chart.
2. Individual Backgammon Competition, 300 lei, games at 5 points/10 min./12 sec. move.
(255 lei registration, 100% in prizes; 45 lei organizational expenses)
3. Double consultation Backgammon competition, 400 lei per team, games at 7 points/14 min/15 sec. move, elimination (340 lei registration, 100% in prizes; 60 lei organizational expenses). The games will be played on the game boxes and dice provided by the organizer, with the use of the clock and/or the slide. Upon agreement, players may use their boxes and devices.
