International Tourism Fair in Chisinau

At the International Exhibition Center "Moldexpo" in Chisinau, the Tourism & Travel Expo 2026 Exhibition, an important international event dedicated to the tourism, travel, hotel and related services industry, is taking place from January 30 to February 1 this year. For three days, residents and guests of the Capital will be able to discover traditional vacation destinations, as well as new tourist destinations, various vacation packages, and family vacations at the exhibition.
The County Public Service for Tourism Promotion and Mountain Rescue Coordination Bacău (SPJPTCAS) participates, together with the Ministry of Economy, Digitalization, Entrepreneurship and Tourism (MEDAT) and other exhibitors from the country, in this new edition of the Fair, a good opportunity to directly and efficiently present and promote the tourist offer of Bacău County, emphasizing spa resorts, health tourism, cultural, religious and nature tourism, as well as the authentic experiences offered by local communities.
Along with SPJPTCAS Bacău, this promotional effort was joined by hoteliers, specialized companies, the Târgu-Ocna City Hall, the Slănic-Moldova City Hall, the Târgu-Ocna Salt Mine, Arca Resort Blăgești - Bacău, local producers, as well as other partners in the tourism field, who contribute with promotional materials and offers dedicated to the public in the Republic of Moldova.
SPJPTCAS Bacău will continue to support and promote Bacău tourism through active participation in specialized fairs and exhibitions, contributing to sustainable development and increasing the attractiveness of the county as a tourist destination.
"Through this participation, we aim to attract as many tourists as possible from across the Prut River to Bacău County, in order to strengthen the position of the Bacău destination on the tourism market in the Republic of Moldova. We believe that constant presence at such international events increases the visibility of our county, strengthens existing partnerships and opens up new opportunities for collaboration in the field of tourism", said the representatives of SPJPTCAS Bacău.
