The team of the County Public Service for the Promotion of Tourism and Coordination of Mountain Rescue Activities in Bacău (SPJPTCAS), consisting of Romulus-Dan Busnea, Olivian Darie and Eduard Baciu (text and video editing), were on Tuesday, June 3, in the Slănic-Moldova resort, for a new documentary-interview, from the series of shows "Treasures of Bacău County", a project initiated and carried out by the Information - Tourism Promotion Department, within SPJPTCAS Bacău.
Major projects in the modernization and development of the resort
It is already becoming a certainty that the Slănic-Moldova resort, now in the midst of a process of development and modernization, tends to return to its former brilliance, beauty and attraction, through the implementation of important investment projects in the expansion of accommodation spaces, including the related treatment and leisure infrastructure.

And, so as not to waste words, we exemplified the above statements by making a documentary-interview with Alina Șova, who together with her husband, Bogdan Șova, manages several hotel units in Slănic-Moldova, namely, the "Dobru" Complex, the "Panoramic" Complex, the "Teleconstrucția" Villa and more recently, the "Casino" in the resort's Central Park, to the joy of the people of Slănic, as well as the tourists who visit this wonderful corner of heaven.
Rightly, from what has been achieved so far, as well as from what will be put into practice in the immediate future, we can say that Bogdan and Alina Șova represent one of the youngest and most successful entrepreneurial couples in Romanian tourism.
In the interview I mentioned above, through the questions asked and the prompt and to-the-point answers provided by Alina Șova, the latest investments that the family has made, primarily for the expansion of the "Panoramic" Complex, were highlighted.. A first stage consisted of the works of strengthening and fencing the land, essential for supporting the embankment and the safety of the future building, and now the stage has been reached of casting the resistance structure, which gives the two people hope that in a month the first brick can be laid. By the end of this year, Bogdan and Alina Șova want to have the SPA area already functional, a modern and elegant one, equipped with a swimming pool, saunas, jacuzzi, all combined with a special design, precisely to make this location a point of attraction in the resort. Next year will also bring accommodation in five-star rooms, which will thus raise the standard in local tourism and beyond.
The interview continued with the offers, rates and leisure facilities that the accommodation units managed by the two entrepreneurs from Slănic make available to tourists, and the final point, considered a historic moment for Slănic-Moldova, long awaited by everyone, referred to the re-opening of the Casino, one of Romania's architectural jewels, the symbol of the resort, the first in the country and the fifth in Europe!
The Casino's rehabilitation works have already begun, according to a phased plan, which will include, in a first phase, the restoration of the terrace facing the Central Park, where a brasserie and a children's play area will be arranged. Subsequently, funds will be accessed for major investments in the Casino building, including the rehabilitation of the performance hall, a space where cultural events, musical performances, plays, art exhibitions, film screenings, etc. will be organized. The atmosphere of the old days will also be recreated, with spaces for roulette, blackjack and poker tables, and guests passionate about this type of entertainment will be able to stay, right across the street, in the five-star rooms of the "Panoramic" Complex.
