The Trotușului Valley reveals at every step, places of unsuspected beauty, which urge you to explore them and, without fail, to visit them.
Through the offers launched and on other occasions, the County Public Service for the Promotion of Tourism and the Coordination of Tourism Activity Bacău (SPJPTCAS), invites hiking lovers to discover new mountain trails in Bacău county.
One of these is the mountain route (under homologation), which connects Asău commune with Muncelu Peak, in the Tarcău mountains, at an altitude of 1.288 m. The departure is from the center of Asău commune, on a blue tape marker, and from The top of Muncelu descends on the red triangle marker. The length of the route is 18 km, and the duration of the journey is approximately 7 hours.
The route also reveals some very special natural attractions: Piatra Uriașului, Lake Osoi, Lake Sec Peak, Muncelu Peak, Agășin Ridge, Bartea Glade.
In the next period, other guided tours will be organized on the trails in the Nemira, Tarcăului, Ciucului and Berzunți Mountains. The routes were arranged in collaboration with the local authorities in the mountain area, some are approved or in the process of being approved, and others are in the works.
