The municipality of Moinești tends to become a balneo-climatic resort soon, its main assets being the mineral springs with curative properties, but also the superb landscapes, with places of stories, some written even by the people of the places.
Among them is the new lavender plantation located next to "Horizon Park" on the northern slope of the Osoiu hill. This park is one of the green spaces with the best viewpoints over the city and its surroundings, being equipped with paths made of stone slabs, sitting benches, play spaces for children. The air here is filled with the scent of lavender, acacias and black pines, which dominate the entire area, an added attraction for locals and tourists. The nearby plantation, park and restaurant represent a happy combination of natural beauty, leisure and authentic gastronomy.
The lavender plantation it covers an area of 4.500 square meters and highlights the aesthetic sense and refinement of its owner and producer, Nicoleta Neagu, in fact, a hobby business turned into a profitable one, but also one that promotes the tourist area of the city of Moinești.
"I am waiting for you with the emotion of a new beginning, to a fragrant story, in the middle of purple flowers. Here you will find handmade and natural lavender products (lavender oil and water, soaps, sachets, bouquets and other arrangements for special occasions), some that you can also taste (sweets) and, of course, purchase" said Nicoleta Neagu, who is also an event organizer on this plantation, through the two websites and Facebook pages, Lavander Angel and Hanul Cu Lavandă.
Next to the plantation is a restaurant that uses lavender as an ingredient in its menus, such as lavender flavored duck breast, sweet potatoes, lavender infused celery puree and an orange flavored sauce.
On Saturday, July 17, starting at 15.00 p.m., Nicoleta Neagu is waiting for you on the plantation, for a lemonade with lavender and honey, as well as for a photo shoot by professional photographers.
