Târgu Ocna has been a spa resort since 1894, and a tourist resort of national interest since 2002. In the park there is the "Măgura Park" spa treatment center, which was inaugurated in 2009, the tourist information center and 7 mineral springs, whose therapeutic properties are exploited by the spa center.
