Location: Cheile Buciaş and the waterfall are located in the commune of Mănăstirea Caşin, 25 km from the municipality of Oneşti and 2 km from the junction of the Buciaş stream with the Caşin stream.

The Buciaș Waterfall is also within the range of the nature reserve. Starting from the Buciaş forestry canton upstream, along the valley of the Buciaș stream, after only 40 minutes (2,5 km) we reach the Buciaș Waterfall, which is approximately 15 meters high, being the largest natural waterfall in Bacău county . This reservation is also the only area in the county where the black goat has settled naturally.
Nearby are Buciaș Hermitage and Păstravăria Uțărcătorea.

Protected habitat: the lower course of the Buciaş stream, with the gorge-type valleys and the waterfall.
